In the grand theatre of political distractions, conservatives took center stage with tales of furries and litter boxes in classrooms. Yet, as the curtain fell, it was revealed to be nothing more than smoke and mirrors, a faux-paw in the political playbook. Perhaps what they really need is a furry politician to leap into the fray, tail wagging, to show that the only thing to fear is fear-mongering itself.
